2023 is starting off strong with many exciting new program offerings! These new options include unique short summer programs, the ability to study and complete an internship at the same time, multi-country programs in Asia, and a community based service learning program- all in a wide range of academic areas.

AUSTRALIA 

Summer in Australia - University of Newcastle

Summer Business Study + Intern at University College Dublin

In the first two weeks, students take courses in international business and either sustainable finance or responsible management. These courses have an emphasis on ethics and sustainability, preparing students for best practices in the business world. During weeks three through eight, students complete an internship placement in marketing, business development, accounting, finance, business analytics, or human resources. Placements are customized based on the needs of the host organization and the student’s interests, employment history, academic background, and skills.

Semester in Seoul - Kyung Hee University

Ranked the #1 most innovative university in Spain, UB has elective classes taught in Spanish to accommodate all language levels (beginner to advanced) that make use of the city as their classroom. Typically students will have one classroom session and two city tours each week. Courses are available in Spanish language and culture, communications, social sciences, business, and humanities.

THAILAND

Service Learning in Thailand

This program combines collaborative service projects across public health, education, community development and NGOs in northern Thailand, with our global community-based learning curriculum.

MULTI-COUNTRY PROGRAMS IN ASIA

Summer in Asia - Japan and South Korea

June 10 - July 22

Students take one course at J.F. Oberlin University in Tokyo followed by one or two courses at Kyung Hee University in Seoul for a total of 6-9 US credits. Students study Japanese and/or Korean language and culture, or choose English-taught social sciences courses. This is the best of both worlds: serene campus settings with easy access to the vibrancy of Tokyo and Seoul.

Summer in Asia - Thailand & Cambodia

June 23 - August 1

$4,890 - $7,090 (depending on credits and housing selection)

This six week program based at Mahidol University includes a Chiang Mai excursion (a weekend in Chiang Mai exploring local temples, a Thai cooking class, and visit to the elephant sanctuary) AND an end-of-program trip to Cambodia which includes a half-day bicycle tour around Siem Riep and a sunrise visit to Angkor Wat. This is a great options for business with a focus on international business management, women's and gender studies, history, and humanities.
